My "sister", Melanie!
Here's my latest monthly, it seems, post! I realized last night, thanks to Dan, that I don't actually need software to be able to download pictures to my computer. I just need the cord. So now I can share some pictures from last weekend when I had a baby shower up at my parents' house in NC.
So last weekend, Dan's mom, our sister-in-law, Amanda, and I flew up to SC/NC for a baby shower that my sisters-in-law gave for me! It was so much fun, and I had a wonderful group of friends there! The weather was pefect! It made me want him here now so that I could start using all of the fun stuff!
Today, I had another shower thrown by girls from my Life Group. It was also a lot of fun, and, again, I was overwhelmed by the turnout and the wonderful gifts. Dan and I are so blessed to have some great friends in our lives.
I go back to the doctor this week, and I'm hoping they will start keeping track of how big he is! It seems like he's a big one, so I'm curious to find out! I wouldn't mind being a little early, but I know that's unlikely with the fist, so I'm not getting my hopes up. Besides, I feel like I can really use all the time I can get!

Holly, I'm so glad that your friends and family showered you, Dan, and your little one with gifts. Thanks for sharing the photos. You look absolutely adorable!! I love getting to see you, even if not in person. I miss your bright eyes, kind smile, and brilliant advice.
I still check the blog all the time, hoping for an update on how you and the baby are progressing. Hope that things continue going as they should and that you are happy and healthy through these last weeks.
xoxo, Abby
How exciting! Look at you! :) I guess that now you're about 34 weeks along. I'm at 32, and we're having a boy too! You have such a beautiful, pregnant glow about you. You look fantastic! I'll add you to my RSS feed so I can stay updated and see your new arrival when he comes.
By the way, I have a new blog- www.thimblythings.com. I didn't realize this would link to my old one, so I just thought I'd let you know.
